Mimic more expensive materials—beautifully.

Stamped concrete, commonly referred to as patterned or imprinted concrete, is concrete that is designed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, and even wood. Our exclusive MasterPro Stamp line can be used to beautify pool decks, driveways, walkways, and patios, and can be used in a myriad of commercial applications as well.

Colors and patterns for stamped concrete can be designed to blend with existing stone, tile, or patterned concrete. It provides the perfect canvas for creating an
economical replica of more expensive materials while still maintaining a natural, authentic look. We use the finest pigments available, using integral colors, which
penetrate the slab’s surface. We don’t use powders, which will only color the top three-sixteenths of an inch of the slab. This enables us to get the complete color throughout the new concrete for better longevity and consistency.

Concrete Craft’s highlighting and antiquing products utilize the latest nanotechnology in UV-resistant colors. In combination with our top-of-the-line sealers, you can have many years of enjoyment with minimal maintenance.

Our Process

ccn-concrete-preparation

Preparation

Your new slab starts with removal of existing concrete or asphalt, grading to achieve proper water flow, and installation of sub-grade to properly support the new concrete. Typically we are grading to 6 inches below the designated top of concrete and will be installing a minimum of 2 inches of compacted base material. Reinforcement can be rebar tied beneath the slab, wire mesh, or fiber mesh which is mixed into the concrete itself (or a combination of any or all). Under slab drainage is installed at this time, forms are built and elevations are confirmed.

Installation

Concrete is placed directly from the truck, using a power buggy, a pump service, or in some cases wheelbarrowed by hand. The concrete is screeded, floated to consolidate the aggregate and then finished to specification. All concrete is between 3500-4000 psi depending on the final finish required. Concrete is then broomed, washed or stamped to achieve the final texture.

Finishing

Forms are stripped, area is cleaned, and all debris is hauled off. Control joints are installed to direct cracking into straight lines. Textured and stamped patterns require additional coloring and sealing which is applied at the proper time.
